ISTAD - Tried everything and still can’t connect

Suggested fix (for ISTAD connection issues):

Remove all the diagnostics application you already have on your laptop including Rheingold and BMW tools.

- Click on start ðŸ¡† regedit in the search bar ðŸ¡† access your registry keys editor ðŸ¡† computer HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software 

Find anything says BMW and delete it (like below)





Under drive C: \organize tab \ folder and search options ðŸ¡† view tab ðŸ¡† select ‘show hidden files’ folder or drives.

 

Delete anything says BMW under program data folder





-Reboot your machine after deleting any registry key.

-Re-install ISTAD
