ISTAD and ISTAP Capabilities/Features

       The ISTAD will cover the faults reading, diagnostics, battery registration and calibration tasks for all E, F, G and i series.

 The ISTAD PRO will cover BMW group F & G  series approved coding and programming tasks.

       The ISTAP will cover the BMW group E series approved coding and programming tasks.



Using ISTAD or ISTAP software set and K+DCAN/ENET cable, you will be able to:

  1.      Diagnose
  2.      Calibrate
  3.      Battery register
  4.      Read and delete memory errors
  5.      Code and program most of the modules

 


But to cover all modules, you will need the ICOM A & ICOM B or ICOM C (for BMW older than June 2001), here is why:

 

ICOM B is needed when coding and programming BMW E series with iDrive and Navigation systems or any MOST accessed module, why? Because MOST module needs an optical adapter to be coded or programmed, that adapter is the ICOM B.

 

ICOM B only works with ICOM A, that’s why ICOM A is needed with ICOM B.

 


Important:

-This ISTA software will not support any custom coding, like changing the vehicle factory settings , disabling the seat belt chime, changing iDrive boot screen,….etc. Or anything may void the vehicle safety or warranty.


-Our support covers any software and vehicle connection related issues, anything after that will be on the customer's task.
