ICOM Stuck in RESERVED State

ICOM Stuck in RESERVED State

If the ICOM is stuck is a RESERVED state, it is usually due to more than one application running at the time.  ICOMs can only receive data from one application at a time, so either ISTA/D or ISTA/P but not ISTA/D and ISTA/P together.  Attempting to do so put the ICOM into a RESERVED state.

To put the ICOM back into a FREE state, exit all running software (ISTA/D and/or ISTA/P), turn off the ignition to the vehicle, and remove the ICOM from the vehicle.  Once completed, reattach the ICOM, start the vehicle and start only one software application.  This should FREE the ICOM.
