The vehicle could not be identified successfully. Check vehicle interface and 'PAD active


A possible bug was identified in ISTAD PRO version 4.22 or later, The bug may cause the connection to the vehicle to fail.

 

We highly suggest you apply the fix anyway after you install the software.

 

The fix will take less than 3 minutes:

 

       Download the batch file fix from the following link (available for OBD HAWK customers only and applies to our specific software release only) :

After download complete, unzip (extract all) , see below:

 


 

 

 

ü  Right click and ‘Run as administrator’:

 


 

 

 

ü  You will see the following message, press any key to continue:

 

 


 

 

 

That’s all, you should be able to connect to any BMW car or bike with KDCAN, ENET or ICOM A cable.

 

If the above fix didn't help, then your machine's local user may not  have enough access permissions to use the program, change the access privileges and it should work, windows may allow you to install an application but with limited access, always unblock the app from under the properties tab, then run as administrator.
